In-Depth articles were introduced by Google in August 2013 as a new type of search result. These articles appear below the normal search results and show featured images from the page along with information about the article and the author of the article. This is Google’s way to feature what is know as evergreen, useful content. It is a great way to get search traffic even if you don’t have top rankings.

One of the requirements of being ranked in In-Depth articles is to have some type of Schema.org markup on the page along with Google Authorship.

Our Schema.org In-Depth Article Code Generator helps to generate the markup required for In-Depth articles so it can easily be applied to your page.

The fields in this tool are organized by schema type. While none of the fields are required, the more information you input, the better the results will be.
